In this video, we’re going to discuss why referral scuba courses are a bad idea and what you should do instead.
Referral scuba courses are a popular way for people to start diving. But is this the best way to learn? We’ll discuss the pros and cons of referral scuba courses and highlight the best ways to learn diving. After watching this video, you’ll have a better understanding of the best ways to learn scuba and avoid referral scuba courses!
We’re kicking off 2023 with a controversial scuba topic: Are referral scuba courses any good?
As a seasoned dive instructor, I choose not to take referral scuba diver students. But what is a referral scuba class? And what is a universal referral? This video has the answers!
A referral scuba diving class is a course that starts with one Instructor in one location and is finished by another dive instructor somewhere else. You have two dive instructors who teach half of your course each. If you don’t live where there is good open water diving, a referral scuba course may be a good option to save you precious time on your vacation! But beware… there are many cons to referral scuba courses!
As always, thanks for watching! Happy New Year everyone!
