Here is the reading list I suggest as a starter for new dive instructors:
Most scuba diving instructors have made at least one of these mistakes or bad habits early in their dive professional career. I’m here to help scuba divers see the difference between good and bad instructors, and to help new scuba divers avoid some of the bad habits that I picked up after my IDC.
Whether it is breaking standards (an absolute no-no) to kneeling. overweighting their dive students or mis-communicating. As Dive Instructors, we are role models for our sport and we need to do the best we can.
